Good blog on Billy the Kid. All American kids know Billy the Kid. There have been so many movies about him they are hard to keep up with.
I remember watching a TV series about Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett. Guess they might have been friends when Pat shot Billy. Or did he shoot Billy. Conspiracy theories abound about how the whole thing was a set up so Billy could get away. Billy was supposed to have lived until well into the 1950s. Silliness no doubt!
